The first green shoots are purple!


We had an uninterrupted, long sunny day here at Macbiehill and although there is still plenty of snow left on the ground, there are also areas specially in the borders where all the white stuff has vanished. And this is what I discovered this morning. Don't they look gorgeous, these messengers announcing more spring flowers to come! I can't wait!

    The first sign of Spring for me are those pretty purple crocuses. I saw a yard blanketed by them yesterday! So happy you are getting Spring too, after all that snow you had.
