A celebration of spring

We enjoyed the sunshine today, worked in the garden, read, and worked on little books (that was me, not John!) and to celebrate I blipped this ranunculus from the basket featured in yesterday's blog. This really is my kind of red, rich and saturated. And it was only on the photograph that the amazing amount of petals came into their own.

  1. Gorgeous photo, Frieda! And thank you for the nice words about the Twelve by Twelve book -- I'm so glad you are enjoying it! The exhibit of all 144 quilts will be at the Festival of Quilts this August, and three of us Twelves will be in attendance! I'm very excited to meet so many of the UK quilters I've only known from afar. I hope I can meet you there!
