After all the excitement of the past week, it was good to return to a peaceful existence and a quiet day, reading the papers, walking the dogs, thinking about future projects, inspecting the garden and restful contemplation of life. I just had to take photographs of the now in full flower crown imperial. Such a majestic bloom! For the picture above (also my blip for today) I simply held the camera underneath and kept clicking away till I came up with a picture I was happy with.
This is how it looks from a normal point of view. Equally gorgeous but not quite as dramatic as the one at the top of this blog.
