Scottish Thistle

I suddenly spotted these beauties by the side of our lane when we returned home this morning. How did I not see them before?

Love how they contrasts with the texture of the stone wall.

    make sure to cut them before they spread the seeds if they are close to your garden, you will not get rid of 'm... I love them too, but here in the fields they are outgrowing everything else.. xx
