When I say paradise, I do of course mean our home at Macbiehill here in the Scottish Borders. It was really warm and sunny and I could not resist taking some more pictures in our garden. There are wild orchids growing amoung our grass and we make sure to mow the lawn around them so they can self seed and hopefully we'll have even more next year!
For the first time an iris is also getting flowers, almost unheard off here as the leaves multiply every year without actually producing any flowers at all. However I did not want to dig them up and this year it has paid off with a lovely pale mauve flower.
Our chicken pair Hector and wivey Cagney also enjoyed the sun together and had a lovely mudbath!
