I am a bit late this week but I could not possibly not make an arch as the theme for the Gothic Arches challenge is Dog. I've used my greyhound a lot in my art so this time the honour goes to my wonderful Rueben, who is a quite unique model! He is mounted on a stitched and gold foiled fabric background and I have given him some companions as he loves other dogs. The Victorian dog scraps and blue border are from Artchix, as is the crown. Rueben is really the king of my heart so he deserves to be crowned!
The text comes from an old dog calendar and reads: A wise dog knoweth all things.
Truer words were never spoken!!
