We've still not had a really bad autumn storm here in the Scottish Borders and as a consequence there are still a lot of trees that have retained some of their beautifully coloured leaves.
This one is a shining example and looks like a lantern spreading light all around it! It is a lot colder though and now that the time has changed it's getting dark earlier and earlier. Time to huddle by the fire in the evenings!
