Trees

Les arbres sont la creation de la terre pour parler au ciel.

or in plain English: Trees are the earth's effort to speak to heaven. A quotation from Tagore.

It sounds so much more romantic and mysterious in French! I discovered this quotation on a card and today provided my own illustration to go with it while we were visiting Dawyck Botanical Gardens on a splendid autumn day!
