Don't forget!

I hope most of you know by now but just in case you don't, the official opening date of my colour - quilts - collage exhibition in Peebles has been postponed till the 23rd April.

We hope to have the show up and hanging before then, and I will keep you posted about progress here. In the meantime, here is a detail of one of the quilts in the exhibition that hasn't been seen before, called: A Woman's Work. It's a bit of social comment on the role of women in modern society and as such highly unusual in my work! Lots of fun to make!

  1. This pop-culture quilt certainly is different!! Especially from your vintage ATC's, but I like it!!! Lots of color, and the beads are still there..... Can't believe I'm going to get to see your quilts in person!!!!! Only 5-6 weeks now ;-0

  3. A beautiful close-up Frieda, so much detail!!! All that beading! I recognize that little fairy-woman with the long blond hair at the bottom. I have some fabric like that! Amazing. I am so happy for you and I am sure you will get the word out about the date change. xo
