As promised here is the second close-up of my Lucy Journal Quilts that won 2nd prize in the travelling competition of journal quilts with the theme of Quilt Poetry. The background is again a machine quilted furnishing fabric, layered with lace and handpainted fabrics. The photograph is of a gravestone in Newlands Graveyard (taken last winter in the snow) and I have adorned it with Lucy's portrait (from one of my vintage images.

Never more will be Journal Quilt
As promised here is the second close-up of my Lucy Journal Quilts that won 2nd prize in the travelling competition of journal quilts with the theme of Quilt Poetry. The background is again a machine quilted furnishing fabric, layered with lace and handpainted fabrics.
