The sun came out
It's amazing what a difference a bit of sunshine makes to taking photographs. The whole play of light and shadow makes the pictures so much more interesting. From top left you see an orange ligularia (also my blip for today), then the purple veronica spiccata against the wall of the house, a white rosa rugosa and then the Rosa Mundi looking like raspberry ripple ice cream. I had to fight my way through a flowerbed to get to it but it was worth the effort (and the midge bites) to take this picture.
