It wasn't warm but the sun was out most of the day and it provided me with the sort of views that I love most about the area we live in. There are gentle rolling Borders hills, the harvesting is in full swing, there are many varieties of trees on view. There is a softness about the Scottish Borders landscape that I haven't found anywhere before and that makes me feel so at home here that I can sense I'm growing roots deep into this soil. Roots that thus far I haven't really had.
Is that a good thing? I have no idea but I do know that I can't help growing them so I might as well enjoy having them
By the way thanks to our broadband (oh the joys of it!) I can now spend time (too much time sometimes!) browsing online, and I just discovered that my two quilts that are travelling with the World Quilt and Textile Show are featured in a YouTube video. Hurrah!

what a beautiful photo-looks like such a lovely area despite some of the harsher weather.
Another great nature photo to enjoy. Of course I had to go see the you tube video-congratulations!
