Beading class with Sabine Lippert

I spend today at a beading class in the Beadshop in Haddington, being taught how to make the Renaissance bracelet by the German beader Sabine Lippert ( http://www.trytobead.com). It was exhilarating but exhausting, mainly because I haven't been beading for about a year apart from the beading I do on my quilts.
I've learned all the techniques needed to finish the bracelet but don't hold your breath! It will be quite some time before I will be ready to show you the finished article.
I will add the necessary links when I'm back at the computer rather than the iPad. Too tired to do anything else. I'm giving a talk tomorrow night but after that normal service here will be resumed!

That is a tantalizing detail Frieda. A beauty even at this stage.

I am sure you were in heaven! But oh so hard! Beading is one of those arts that can cause an nervous breakdown. lol!
What you have shown looks so intricate and amazing. I will wait patiently to see it when it is done.
Hugs,
Terri
