Pansy Orchid

It's been a bit of a mad week and next week will be much the same but this time with lots of driving involved as well so I apologize in advance for not being present here as much as usual. I will do my absolute level best to keep up with the daily photographs at Blipfoto but there probably won't be many blog posts till it's all done and dusted.

Today I was giving a talk and workshop on my 52 Journals project to the Thistle Quilters of whom I am a member and I was so delighted to receive this gorgeous plant in thanks. It's a real stunner, called a Miltoniopsis, otherwise known as a pansy orchid. The markings are amazing as is the colour. Enjoy!
