A Golden Glow

 It was a very slippery and icy dog walk this morning and the snow has returned. On the plus side there was a golden glow in the sky and it was a beautiful sunrise.

The day however also provided a reminder of how precious our lives are and how fragile too. Like rosehips clinging on into winter.

I spend most of the day in my studio putting together my La Linea d'oro journal quilts from last year into one large quilt. There is still a bit to go but it's well on the way. Remember, all the fabrics were painted on the gelli plate and the background fabric too is painted and further coloured with spray paint. The individual squares are hand appliquéd to the background.
