Mother's forsythia is in flower. This plant arrived as a cutting from my mother-in-law's garden and has put on a very reliable show every year so far despite the fact that we hardly prune it as you should do according to the books. We're too nervous about losing it to cut it! It provides a lovely splash of yellow in the garden to accompany the daffodils.
Love it! And I am thrilled that our forsythia has finally bloomed-albeit weeks late this year:)
