Lady's Mantle

When I was walking the dog this morning I was thinking I should really have worn my gloves (gloves in May!) as it was so cold but at least it was not raining. No sooner had that thought entered my head or it started to come down by the bucket full. Yikes!

Then on a positive note the decision was made to spend the day in the studio but before that in a moment of dryness I popped outside to take that all important daily photograph for blip. While getting up close and personal with the self seeded alchemilla mollis in the courtyard a strange smell was detected. Yes, I had stepped (with my crocs) into a pile of dog guano! Guess the day can only get better. At least I hope so.
