It's a good day to start machine quilting on a large quilt as the weather isn't promising anything very exciting. It's wet and overcast although not cold. The tulips are almost but not quite out but in the greenhouse I discovered a ranunculus flower slowly unfurling it's petals.
I really like the levels and layers of this flower. So rich in color too!
