Farewell, my sweet girl

Sadly we had to say goodbye today to our sweet greyhound girl. She had been fitting occasionally for some months now but today the fitting didn't stop. Our friend and near neighbour who is a vet, came over and agreed that the moment had come to say goodbye to Troi. This is a picture I took about a month ago when she was sleeping in her characteristic attitude with one leg in front of her face. She would have been 13 in September. I can't begin to describe how much we will all miss her.

    I am so sorry to hear your sad news and the loss of sweet Troi Frieda. I know only too well the emptiness one feels after a pet dies. She will forever be with you in spirit...
