The Miracle is This

The new prompt on Colour Me Positive was: Living in Generosity, while the art challenge asked us to put a rainbow on our pages. I took that as my clue to use all colours of the rainbow for the background and combined it with the large stencil from the April 2015 Stencilgirl Club.  It resulted in a mad spread of psychedelia!
I knew I had a rainbow coloured image in my stash (no idea where it originated but there is a frog involved as well!). She fitted in perfectly on the page. I also added collage with pieces of a painting by Sonia Delauney and added another bit of the same image to the pages featuring another frog. I added the word RAINBOW as a sort of halo above her head. It came from the monthly newsletter from Rainbow Silks.
For our theme the words by Leonard Nimoy seemed appropriate: "The miracle is this, the more we share the more we have". It matched the whole atmosphere of Sixties Flower Power the pages had taken on.
For good measure I also added gold to the pages and used a gold marker to outline the edges.
Finally after writing and posting someone alerted me to the fact that this August is the 50th anniversary of the 1966 Woodstock Summer Of Love, so this spread is very topical! Quite unsettling though to realize an event that happened during your own lifetime is now part of history.
