Cow Parsley in the Lane

The cow parsley is out in all our little lanes wafting by the side of the road. Always a lovely sight and I hope the rain won't spoil it too much.
It was a mix of sunshine, showers and a stiff breeze today but the dog walk in the Penicuik Estate was very enjoyable.
There was hardly anyone about so I took that opportunity to picture the steps leading up to the grand entrance of Penicuik House.
