On frozen river and pond

It was a very icy day with lots of frost, and it provided me with wonderful photo opportunities during the dog walk in Penicuik Estate, around the Low Pond and the North Esk river.

 The icicles made along the edges and along the overhanging branches in the river North Esk were amazing.

Like blown glass!

    Gorgeous photos Frieda. Although I hate the winter cold , it does provide us with some awe-some moments in nature.
