Melting Snow

The slow melting of the snow has started although it remains hard going in the forest. A little bit of sunshine brightened up the scene.

In the afternoon we finally managed to make it out of our drive, out of our lane (still a bit challenging specially when encountering cars going in the opposite direction), and into Penicuik Estate (car park very slippery indeed!)

But we made it! So much easier for Flora to walk than the large drifts of snow still present in the forest. We even met one of her doggy friends.
