Collage 25

Collage 25 was done in a 5 x 8" Moleskine journal and has a photograph I took of our courtyard in the background while the foreground figure is a detail from a photograph by Walker Evans taken in 1938 titled Subway Passengers, NYC, that is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. I found it in an old calendar. I loved the top postage stamp as it merged in well with the other colours and balanced it with the stone horse image from a magazine about antiques.
