A snowy landscape

We had a strange day here at Macbiehill weather wise. We woke up to a layer of snow on the ground which was about 1" so not too bad. I went to the Post Office to mail the Silver Inchies and other swaps and managed to make it there and back safely. But during the day snowstorms kept coming and going. Sometimes it was really dark and the next minute the sun was shining down on a beautiful white world. Just about half an hour ago I looked up from my computer to see a stunning pink, turquoise and white scene which took my breath away.

This photograph has been taken from our front garden looking towards the Pentland Hills.
