Golden Daffodils

Okay, so it's not quite a field full of them ala Wordsworth, but only a small hill in our garden which we are trying to turn into a daffodil filled hillock by planting more bulbs there every autumn. It's looking quite impressive today as almost all the daffodils have decided to show their face in the sunshine. It might still be freezing (ice in the birth bath this morning!) but at least there is sun on this May Day Bank Holiday. Now all we need is a rise in temperature!

I've been absent from bloglandia for a few days - but what a sunshiny Spring photo to find on my return! I love daffodils...ours have come and gone now. It took forever for Spring to get here - and it just came and went in a matter of two or three weeks. We're almost summery now!

Lovely shot!

beautiful, Frieda. The yellow color and the daffodils themselves are so sunny! I love when they are planted "en masse" as you & John are doing.
we have some potted flowers out front now as spring is a totally different thing here in Florida! : ) hugs from lenna across the way and down south!!
