A New Year has begun and a new window has opened. I wonder how the days ahead are going to be filled and what I will have done by the time 2012 draws to a close. More about my plans for this year in the days to come!
Today was used to pay another visit to Penicuik House. Despite the fact that it has been almost a year since our last visit, the house is still wreathed in scaffolding and a gigantic crane remains in residence. It looked exactly like it did the last time minus the blue sky that was visible then.
We had hoped for an invigorating walk with the dogs but everyone else in the wide environments of Penicuik had the same idea and it was really busy with people and a wild crowd of dogs. It was also perishingly cold! Oh well, we made a start on another year of dog walking, had some exercise and I picked up the blip for today, in the shape of the above photograph.

"Perishingly" cold sounds toooooo coooooollllddddd! You were brave to go out for a walk with the dogs! We took our dogs out this morning too, to start off the new year. They loved it! It was 60 degrees here : )
