The first snow of the season started falling late last night as we were letting out the dogs before going to bed and this morning we were greeted by a white world. The sun was already out though, and shining low down in the sky on one side, while the moon was making its way slowly behind the Pentland Hills. It was a beautiful day and I took some more photographs while walking the dogs this afternoon but the morning one was the favourite.
