The light of summer

The weather continues to be unbelievably gorgeous. Tropical temperatures and wall to wall sunshine. The whole world seems to smile in delight. We were in Peebles this morning and on the way home I spotted this laburnum tree in full flower by the side of Newlands church. It made a beautiful picture with the old railings in the foreground. Golden Rain is such an appropriate name for this tree.

And all the green looks so fresh and delightful.

What a beautiful photograph of the vintage iron railing and the sunshine shining so brightly through the tree.
I must say, I envy you for living in heart yearns for that land as I am Scots-Irish and English but American born...but it is the 'pull' toward Scotland that I feel more than anything. It is like a fairy land to me. You are so lucky to live there!
