What a day this was, with endless sunshine and blue skies. I abandoned any pretence of work and simply enjoyed the garden. Above the Veilchenblau rose (such a romantic name that translates as Blue Veil).
The first dahlias have appeared.
This is Rosa Mundi, an old rose that has been about for centuries.
We have a beautiful selection of wildflowers growing in old cattle troughs.
And here is another view of those Veilchenblau roses growing up the pergola. Just heavenly.
