Face Page

Week 35 of 2014 brings a new challenge theme for The Documented Life project and it was: Draw, sketch, paint, doodle a face or cut out and alter one from a book and magazine. Due to time restrictions as a result of my exhibition I chose to do the latter and cut out a face from a magazine and glued it onto a gelli plate printed page.

I coloured in her features and surrounded her face with flowers which were then outlined with a Stabilo All pencil.

Finally I added outlining with markers and watercolour pens and added the text A dream of loveliness as shown.

Re the exhibition I am not going to be there each and every day for the next 6 weeks! But if you are planning a visit and would like to meet up contact me via my e-mail address in the sidebar and hopefully I'll be available at some stage. I can't guarantee it though. Lots of other things are also happening and although I would love to do it all that would require me to clone myself and sadly that's not yet possible.
