Some things in the garden are coming to an end while others are still going strong. But the knowledge that soon all this colour will be gone makes me feel quite sad. Above the potentilla hedge that is still looking very bright.
Mister Rueben will remain a red boy! But he too is looking rather melancholIc.
The verbascum and monks hood (aconitum) have only just begun to put their colour on so we will be able to enjoy them for a while longer.
