I Wish You Flowers

The months seems to be rolling passed so fast at the moment and it's already November. How did that happen?!

Specially in the winter months, I feel the need to brighten up the house with flowers, either real ones or  flowers on my art pages. Hope you share my love for flowers and let’s make them bloom in our art project. As always there is a step-by-step tutorial for this project and you can find it at Stencilgirl Talk. It tells you exactly which stencils I used too.

As ever many thanks to Stencilgirl Products for giving my the opportunity to share my art with you.
After I finished the single page I wanted to do something with it and it ended up as the front cover for an art journal I hand made following the instructions in Pam Carriker's book Creating Art at the Speed of Life. I'm going to give it a few layers of gloss gel medium so that it can withstand whatever I will throw at it once I start working on the spreads inside.
You can see the journal below.

this is delightful-and yes, who doesn't love flowers!! The layers in this piece remind me of stained glass a bit.
