An Equal Life

The prompt this week on Joggles Art Journal Adventures was to use mosaic or patchwork design. I had a totally different idea for this spread in my 5.5 x 8.5" journal but when my eye fell on stencil L326 Blueprint of Archeological Treasures from Stencilgirl Products I knew I wanted to use that.
The background was done in high toned and fluorescent paint colours with the large stencil from May 2016 Stencilgirl Club. I added more texture by rubber stamping with pieces of a stamp sheet by ImpressMeNow.
I used an appropriate to the prompt quotation by Ralph Waldo Emerson that reads: "We do not live an equal life but one of contrasts and patchwork; now a little joy, then a sorrow, now a sin, then a generous or brave action".
