It has been awhile since I mailed my last Lost Art Creations piece so before I started to remove more paper from a foundation pieced quilt (so BORING!!) I indulged myself making this piece, called Hope to be Happy. Used a fabric collage background made for my March Journal Quilt, added a lady image from LAC Femme et Flora inkjet vellum sheet, a butterfly transparency (www.divasdeste.com) and used a transparent ribbon (www.threadart.com) as the border. The quotation comes from an old book I bought yesterday!

Oh Frieda... all of your new art is wonderful.. I love the violet lost art piece .. actually I love both of them I just love how you use all the different papers, vellum, fabric and transparency.
