Love is in the Air Fat Inchies

I've finished my 6 fat inchies (i.e. 1.1/5" instead of 1" square) for a swap on the Lost Art Creations Yahoo group. You may recognize the background from a previous post about the Love Hurts ATC. I cut the squares to size and layered them up with pink felt. The images I sewed on are from the Lost Art Creations Love is in the Air vellum collage sheet. I added love related sayings in Italian from an Italian phrase book. To get rid of the vivid white I used rub-on pink. I added watercolour paper as the backing and zigzagged around all edges to sandwich the squares together while at the same time couching down a white yarn, also from Lost Art Creations, this time from one of their fiber packs.
