Today was our area day for Scotland of the Quilters' Guild and we had it at the Perth Race Course. It was a beautiful day, very windy (specially on the Forth Road Bridge!) but sunny and even on the motorway there were beautiful views and vistas. I did not take a photo as I was driving and so it would be a bit unsafe, as well as probably illegal. But I never cease to be amazed by the beauty of my adopted country.I went with the firm intention of NOT buying any more fabric but needless to say this did not last and once I started I found it hard to stop. There are simply so many gorgeous fabrics available and more coming out all the time. I bought these mainly for my mixed-media and ATC work and maybe for a few quilties, who knows?? But they will come in useful, one of these fine days! And yes, I also bought a book despite the same resolution re books. I'll review it for you in due course but the title is: Piecing with Pixels.

love that lemon/lime/orange fabric!
I have the same problem - I can't stop buying. Period. I think it's a disease. LOL
oooh . . . the top one I can see being transformed into some "lemon&lime" ATCs for September's Colour Groupies challenge : )) what fun to see the new fabrics you found, Frieda. I must admit that I have been tempted by the site I shared with you, the Fat Quarter shop more than once in the past month! It makes me wonder if I should stop receiving their newsletters . . . nah!
heehee, lenna
