When the snow started to melt today (although apparently more will be on the way on Sunday) my eye was caught by a flash of purple just by the entrance to the garage. I immediately bend down to investigate further and it turned out to be a lovely small clump of crocusses, which I simply had to share here. Aren't they gorgeous?

I'm so envious - other than a few very brave, and rather unenriched looking - snow drops, nothing has come up here yet. Of course it would have to poke it's head through about five inches of snow that still hasn't melted!
