Leaves and Flowers Charm Bracelet

All the goodies that I used to make this charm bracelet have now been added to the Alphastamps website so I can share it with you now.

I had a great time putting it all together and I personally love these really chocker block full of charms bracelets, even though I can rarely wear them while I'm working away on my quilts. Just too much weight on my sewing arm and also afraid I might catch it on something. But when I'm out and about I love the feeling and sound of all those charms tinkling together.

If you fancy making something like this here are the instructions:

Determine the finished length of your bracelet, check the width of your clasp and deduct this from that length. Cut a piece of silver link chain to the resulting measurement.
Add a clasp element to both ends of the chain, using a 4mm silver jumpring.

All leaf and flower beads from Alphastamps.

Using head pins, put on a side-holed green leaf followed by a red flower bead and make a wrapped loop. Do this for as many leaf/flower combinations as you will need.

Do the same with a blue flower bead and a silver leaf charm. Again make as many as you’ll need.

Using an eye pin put on a side-holed copper leaf and a red flower bead and make a wrapped loop. Make as many as you’ll need.

Do the same for the 2 large rose beads. And for 3 silver butterfly beads + small green bead combination.

Start adding all these elements plus 5 peacock charms (also from Alphastamps) to separate loops of the chain, using 4mm silver jump rings and alternate the above made elements with green and brown leaves, already on a loop, also using jump rings. Make sure you tighten the rings of the leaves (of course also from Alphastamps) so they won’t come off.
