Vintage Spring Alpha Stamps ATCs

Today I'm at a different location, namely the organic farm down the road. This means a journey of only a couple of miles but on the downside, this is an unsecured network so I'm balancing the two. On the upside it means that I can have a lovely cup of Americano coffee while I'm writing this, so things aren't all bad!

And it's time to show you the ATCs I made for the Spring ATC swap on the Alphastamps Yahoo group. I made a special fabric-paper collage for these Spring ATCs and I will use parts of it as well for other ATC swaps I'm participating in as spring seems to be what we're all longing for so swaps with this subject are coming up like green shoots everywhere. To the background I added fabric images from Alpha Stamps Quite Contrary #1 sheet and I also used some gorgeous brads (available from Alpha Stamps) although with hindsight this did mean that I could not scan the ATCs as they were much too 3D, instead I took photographs but even these don't look as good as I would have liked. However the ATCs are now on their way so I will have to settle for these images. The one above is the one I kept for myself. You can see that to finish off I mounted the ATCs onto watercolour ATC sized paper and I distressed the edges in joyful spring green.

These are all so lovely and Spring-like! Just beautiful, Frieda. So glad you could borrow a computer. My Vintage Spring ATCs for your swap are complete and I will be sending them and sharing them on my blog, soon!

Thanks for your kind words of welcome Frieda! As you can see from the 'anonymous' heading I am still coming to grips with the technicalities. Love the spring ATCs.
