More Spring ATCs

This year I'm participating in the Embroiderers' Guild, Scottish Branches ATC swap which will take place during our next Regional Day towards the end of April. The organizer, Maureen, came to my ATC class in Glasgow about a year or so ago and definitely "caught the bug".

Although I'm sending my ATCs to Maureen, I will be able to collect my swaps on the day thus making it the first time I will be swapping at an event in person.

You will recognize that same fabric-paper collage background again and to this I have added on the card above a fabric image from Alpha Stamps English Rose sheet, that was zigzag stitched on. I also added part of a lovely flower decoration, the text Just like Heaven (again in fabric and from Alpha Stamps Words collage sheet). Finally I added the butterfly embellishments (Nature Borders available from Alphastamps), layered the card up with a flower fabric for the back, zigzag stitched the edges and also beaded, using yellow size 11 seed beads.

The other card is made in just the same way apart from the fact that the image comes from Alpha Stamps Ophelia #3 collage sheet. The title of this one is: Shall we dance? (again from Alpha Stamps Words sheet in fabric).

Frieda, your fabric paper base is so versatile it does not matter that you are using it again -keep on using it!! I love it. It is such a lovely base that takes you so many places. Yes there are small similarities, but each batch of ATCs is unique!! And so spring-y!!
