Last night we had the most beautiful sunset here at Macbiehill. I was working away in my studio on the binding of a quilt and as this is on the east side of the house I hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary.
Then I went into our dining room and almost could not believe the astounding colours in the sky. It was as if some magical light show was taking place there and I simply grabbed my camera and hurried outside. I haven't manipulated these pictures at all (I hardly ever do so!) so this is truely what it was like!

A moment to treasure like so many moments here.
To make such beauty in my quilts is what I'm always aiming for but in truth nature is a much better artist!
