Yes, today has been a real headache as that was what I had when I woke up this morning, ready to go to an Area Day of the Quilters' Guild in Perth. Normally I manage to catch my migraines and stop them in their tracks before they develop into a fullblown attack (I have had more than 40 years experience after all) but today it was already too late. As a consequence even I had to agree with John that driving a car was out of the question and so, alas, no Area Day with it's accompanying retail therapy.
However, I absolutely refuse to go to bed, even with a raging migraine. Life simply is too short to waste any time that way, and instead I walk around like a zombie and pretend to do something useful. Needless to say nothing productive comes out of my hands till the pain lifts but I did enjoy our brief intervals of sunshine among the showers and captured the beautiful lilies flowering outside.
I'm feeling a lot better now and will go and do some beading on my bracelet! Tomorrow will hopefully be a much more fruitful day!

EEK!!! Hope your headache has gone away my dear. Your flowers are gorgeous.
Hugs,
Debby
OOH so sorry to hear about your migraine. I have about two a year and one this week - always wonder if it is weather/sunspot/astrologically related.
I am afraid I do succumb to being horizontal, avec sick bowl, and slathered in lavendar oil for the duration!
