and we made the most of it by walking along our little country lane. Apart from the odd passing car the only neighbours we meet are in animal form. They too are enjoying the wonderful sunshine and although they gaze at the dogs, mostly they aren't very bothered about their presence.
This ram is enjoying a well-deserved rest after what was no doubt a hectic summer looking after his ewes. This particular one has a very strange shaped head and looks at you in a particular doopy way but nevertheless, I would not venture in this field which is full of rams, that are redundant for the autumn and winter period.
This field full of ewes looks a lot more peaceful and also offers a great view down towards West Linton village.
