It's just so wonderful to wake up to a white world with a blue sky. The snow might be a nuisance in some ways to many people but as for me I prefer days like this to those grey, damp, dark winter days. And they also provide me with many blipping opportunities.
There are days when I have to think long and hard about a blip but these gorgeous winter days provide so much inspiration and opportunities for photography, and that means I take so many pictures that I have problems selecting which one to use for my blip du jour!
Today I hesitated between the four photos shown here but eventually settled on the one at the very top. Do you agree?
These clear winter days are also excellent for exercise. I must have walked about 6 or 7 miles all told, equipped with dogs, a telescopic ski pole and the camera. Joggling them all to take a picture isn't easy at times but I'm over the moon with how my new Lumix camera (did I mention it's azur blue!!!) performs. It seems to be steady as a rock even without a tripod.

FOUR gorgeous blues and whites to choose from. Think I might have decided on the second or third one simply because they show a long perspective of your wonderful countryside.
Beautiful, a true winter wonderland!
I think each one is spectacular. I too love the snow with the blue sky. Very invigorating! At one time I lived in northern Canada, and we had many days and scenes like yours. Back then I snowshoed. (dont' know if that is a word!)
Thank you for pointing me to your post about how you make the fabric/paper substrate, I think it is fab! I will give it a try soon.
Hugs,
Terri
Beautiful photographs Frieda! I will be mailing your January pages this week for OMG.
:0) I'm going to join you in a daily blip! Today I am off to purchase a new camera so the motivation to learn how to use it will be increased with an opportunity to share and measure improvements throughout the year. Love the fact it is directly from Scotland - perhaps I'll have a chance to blip over there one day!
I couldn't leave a comment on your blip pages but they are all fabulous
