Laura McCabe

Today was the last day Laura was teaching in Haddington and yet again we had a wonderful day and most of us have already booked up for next year.

She had a day off in between teaching yesterday and I thought it was a real shame she never got to see much of Scotland's beauty so I took her to Rosslyn Chapel as well as Melrose Abbey. We had a hugely enjoyable day (even the weather proved willing!) and as well as seeing a lot we also indulged in a day long arty chat!

I'm sorry I haven't been on the blog as much as I usually am and I promise you some pictures of our day out in due course as well as photographs of the graveyard of St. Mary's Church in Haddington, a real treasure trove of beautiful grave monuments. That's all to come in the next few days! In the meantime a portrait of Laura and some of her beading kits behind her. The pile is substantially reduced since she started teaching on Wednesday and yes, quite a few are now here at home with me!

What fun you must have had with Laura McCabe!!! And isn't she the lucky one to have seen Roslyn Chapel?

Had a few extra minutes to do a Google search, and no wonder you wanted to take classes from her. Her designs and work are simply exquisite and most inspiring.....
