Travelling On Exhibition

The Thistle Quilters of whom I'm a fairly recent member, are having their 30th Anniversary exhibition, called Travelling On. It will open on Saturday 21st April and last till Saturday 28th April. It's taking place at the English Speaking Union, 23 Atholl Crescent in Edinburgh's West End. The venue is open from 10am - 4.30pm. Admission fee is £2 and there is coffee available.

Shown above is the card that's used to publicize the exhibition. On the left is a very traditional log cabin quilt (made by Jean Holloway) and on the right a very recent art quilt made by me, called Thread Tangle, so it really demonstrates how we've been travelling on. I'll show you more pictures of that one as well as the other quilt I'm exhibiting once the show opens!

If you're planning a visit I'll be stewarding on Tuesday the 24th between 10 and 1. Come and say hello!

I love quilts of any kind, there is something warm and comforting about them. Colorful, modern or vintage they are appealing. Your thread quilt is beautifully done and very creative. Congratulations.
