A golden autumn day

Another gloriously sunny day and the theme this week for the Calumet group on Blipfoto is Close Up. Well, as you can guess I didn't need telling that twice. And many close-ups later here are a few of my choices. The one above of a verbascum was my ultimate choice for the blip today.

And here are some I also liked very much. Clock-wise from the top; an even closer-up of the verbascum, buddleia, spiraea, hydrangea, veronica and clematis.

As you can see I've also been fiddling around with my design template for the blog, as I was keen to widen the main column so that I could show you larger pictures. In order to do that I had to change templates and then it only seemed right to give the whole blog a new look. Hope you like it!
