Early Morning Promise

The landscapes in the sky looked beautiful first thing this morning and there was a rosy glow on the horizon. Sadly the day didn't quite live up to that promise although I did discover a white flowering Jacob's ladder plant in one of our flowerbeds. That must surely be some sort of record.

I spend a solid day stitching. Always satisfying and also necessary as the end of this month begins to loom and the list of things that have to be finished by then isn't done yet.
