Leopard's Bane

We have had what can only be described as a very disturbed night. The greyhound is suffering from what I correctly diagnosed as cystitis and she needed to go out about every forty minutes or so, staying out for about 20 minutes at a time. I took the first shift till about 3.15 and John the rest of the night. Fortunately we could see the vet this morning and anti-inflammatory and antibiotic injections were administered at vast expenses. This should ensure a more peaceful night for us all!

I hope so as I was to go to Kilmarnock for the Embroiderers' Guild Regional Day tomorrow but we will have to see how things go. In the meantime here are various pictures of doronicum orientalis, more commonly known as leopard's bane. It's flowering it's head off in out front garden.

How exhausting! Poor dog- I hope she is better soon and you can get a better night's sleep tonight! The leopard's bane is wonderful.

I went through a similar thing with my previous dog Gwendoline so I absolutely know how exhausting it can be poor thing. Hope the meds get things back on track!
